ROLE OVERVIEW:
The TikTok Shop Expert is responsible for building, managing, and optimizing TikTok Shop accounts for fast-growing consumer brands. This role oversees the end-to-end TikTok Shop experience including store setup, product listings, promotions, fulfillment configuration, advertising campaigns, and ongoing performance optimization.
The TikTok Shop Expert ensures that brand products are properly configured, highly discoverable, and optimized for conversion within TikTok Shop. This role works closely with internal teams and creators to ensure products are ready for promotion and positioned to drive scalable revenue growth. The ideal candidate understands both the operational and growth aspects of TikTok Shop and can translate platform opportunities into measurable sales performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
TikTok Shop Account Setup
? Set up and configure TikTok Shop accounts for new brands.
? Manage account approvals, store configuration, and platform compliance requirements.
? Connect TikTok Shop accounts with logistics partners, warehouses, and fulfillment providers.
? Ensure all operational systems are properly configured for order processing and fulfillment.
Product Listings & Catalog Management
? Create and optimize product listings within TikTok Shop.
? Manage product catalogs including pricing, variants, product descriptions, and inventory syncing.
? Ensure product listings are optimized for discoverability, content clarity, and conversion.
? Maintain accurate catalog data and troubleshoot listing or inventory issues.
Store Optimization
? Build and manage TikTok Shop storefronts for brand accounts.
? Launch and manage promotions including bundles, coupons, flash deals, and product discounts.
? Optimize product pages to improve conversion rates and product visibility.
? Continuously test and improve store layout and promotional strategies.
TikTok Shop Advertising
? Launch and manage TikTok Shop advertising campaigns.
? Create and optimize Spark Ads and product-focused campaigns.
? Monitor ad performance and optimize campaigns for ROAS and revenue growth.
? Work closely with content and creator teams to maximize campaign effectiveness.
Platform Operations
? Monitor account health, policy compliance, and order management.
? Troubleshoot technical issues related to listings, fulfillment, or advertising campaigns.
? Coordinate with affiliate and creator teams to ensure products are properly configured for promotion.
? Maintain operational workflows to ensure smooth daily store management.
Data & Reporting
? Track TikTok Shop performance including GMV, product metrics, and advertising results.
? Prepare weekly reports summarizing performance, growth opportunities, and insights.
? Identify opportunities to scale sales through promotions, pricing adjustments, or advertising strategies.
? Use performance data to continuously improve store and product performance.
RESULTS & SUCCESS METRICS:
? Consistent growth in TikTok Shop GMV across managed accounts.
? Improved product listing conversion rates and catalog performance.
? Strong advertising performance including improved ROAS and efficient CAC.
? Well-optimized product catalogs and storefronts that support scalable sales.
? Healthy TikTok Shop account status with full platform compliance.
? Successful product launches and promotional campaigns.
REQUIREMENTS:
? 1+ year of experience managing TikTok Shop accounts.
? Strong understanding of TikTok Shop Seller Center tools and workflows.
? Experience launching and managing TikTok advertising campaigns.
? Strong technical ability with eCommerce platforms and product catalog systems.
? Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
? Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable improvements.
? Ability to manage multiple brands or projects simultaneously.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
? TikTok Shop setup and management for brands or agencies.
? Experience with Amazon Seller Central or other marketplace platforms.
? Experience with Shopify or other eCommerce platforms.
? Experience working with CPG or consumer product brands.

COMPENSATION:
Compensation is competitive and rate depending on experience. Performance incentives may also be available based on TikTok Shop revenue growth, advertising performance, and successful product launches.
