JOB OVERVIEW

As a Collections Representative at PRS, the primary responsibility is to manage the collection process by monitoring delinquent accounts, negotiating payment arrangements, and ensuring compliance with policies. This role processes all collections notices and assists members with collection issues, offering guidance on repayment options while maintaining positive member relationships with strong communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

This is full-time, Monday-Friday 8:00AM CST – 9:00PM CST
(hours that collections can be operated, not mandatory)

Pay - The salary range for this role is $4.00-$7.00 per hour based on experience. With potential of increases for performance.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming and make outbound calls to customers in arrears to discuss payment options to always comply with regulatory and Company policies
- Advise and influence customers on the payment options for debt recovery handle each call promptly and in the correct manner, updating records accordingly customer related data accurately and efficiently
- Manage customers who are resistant to agent contact by remaining polite, tactful, honest, and firm
- Managing automated calls and emails
- Handle difficult customers and escalated calls
- Maintain accurate notes in customer accounts
- Provide assistance with online payments
- Provide customers recap of accounts for billing disputes
- Reporting results to management and escalating problem accounts
- Achieve set revenue targets and call objectives
- Follow strict Company policies and procedures at all times, ensuring that all requirements are met
