JOB OVERVIEW

I am looking to hire a highly skilled and creative video editor to professionally edit a video I recently filmed for my YouTube channel and social media platforms. The video already has a rough edit completed where all mistakes and unnecessary sections have been removed, so the primary focus will be enhancing the quality, flow, and engagement level of the video to create a polished, professional final product.

The content is focused on financial education and professional insights, so the final result should reflect a clean, high-end, credible, and engaging presentation style suitable for YouTube and other major social media platforms.

Scope of Work:

The selected editor will be responsible for:

• Refining the overall flow and pacing of the video to ensure a smooth and engaging viewing experience
• Adding a professional introductory text section that will be provided by me
• Adding a closing/conclusion section with specific text messaging that I will provide
• Enhancing visual presentation with clean transitions, graphics, and subtle motion effects where appropriate
• Incorporating interactive on-screen text, graphics, or images that help break down key concepts as I explain them throughout the video
• Ensuring the video maintains a professional and high-quality look suitable for a financial professional’s brand
• Optimizing the final video format primarily for YouTube, while also ensuring it can be repurposed for other social media platforms

YouTube Optimization (Highly Preferred):

Experience with YouTube growth and optimization is a major plus. The ideal candidate should also be able to assist with:

• Creating a high-converting YouTube title
• Writing a SEO-optimized video description
• Suggesting tags and keywords that improve discoverability
• Structuring the video in a way that improves viewer retention and engagement
• Potential guidance on thumbnail concepts

My goal is to produce content that has the potential to perform extremely well on YouTube and ideally reach a large audience.

Style & Quality Expectations:

The finished video should feel:

• Clean
• Professional
• Modern
• Engaging
• Visually polished
• High credibility (appropriate for financial/educational content)

Think along the lines of top-performing YouTube educational or business channels.

Project Details:

• Rough-cut video will be provided
• Intro and outro text will be provided
• Editor may suggest additional creative improvements
• Final video should be delivered in high resolution suitable for YouTube
