Shopify AI Store Builder needed for team

We are an eCommerce company looking for a talented and efficient Shopify Store Builder & Operator who can build high-quality, branded Shopify stores using AI tools — with limited resources and fast turnaround times.

This is not a basic theme install job. We need someone who can take a product, a brand name, and minimal assets — and build a fully branded, conversion-optimized Shopify store from scratch using AI for copywriting, product images, and store content. You will be expected to operate at a high level across every part of the store build.

THE ROLE

You are an overall Shopify store operator and builder. You will be responsible for the entire store — from theme setup and customization to product images, copywriting, app integrations, and final QA. You must have a deep understanding of Shopify and how to build stores that look professional and convert.

AI TOOLS WE USE — YOU MUST BE COMFORTABLE WITH THESE

- Nano Banana Pro — for generating product images, lifestyle shots, infographic visuals, and branded PDP imagery when we have limited or no photography. You will be creating professional product images from scratch using AI.
- Claude Opus 4.6 — for writing all store copy including product descriptions, headlines, benefit sections, FAQ content, comparison copy, and homepage content. You must know how to prompt Claude effectively to get high-converting, brand-appropriate copy.
- You should have a deep understanding of how to use AI as your primary tool for building stores with limited resources. We are not handing you a full brand kit with professional photography — you are building the brand visually and verbally using AI.

REQUIREMENTS

- Proven experience building Shopify stores from scratch or redesigning existing ones — with examples
- Deep expertise with Shrine Pro theme specifically — this is the theme we use across our stores
- Ability to generate professional, branded product images using Nano Banana Pro or similar AI image tools when no photography exists
- Strong copywriting skills OR the ability to use Claude Opus 4.6 effectively to produce compelling product descriptions, headlines, benefit copy, FAQs, and full page content
- Knowledge of Shopify apps and integrations — you must be able to set up and configure apps such as Loox (reviews), ---------- , upsell apps, subscription apps, email marketing integrations, and other conversion-focused tools
- Understanding of conversion-optimized store layouts — including trust badges, urgency elements, social proof sections, comparison tables, ingredient/benefit breakdowns, and results timelines
- Ability to build stores that look and feel like the Elare example above — branded, professional, and high-converting even with limited starting assets
- Must be able to deliver projects quickly without compromising quality
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

YOUR TASKS AS A SHOPIFY STORE BUILDER & OPERATOR

- Build complete Shopify stores from scratch using Shrine Pro theme
- Customize theme sections, layouts, and styling to match each brand
- Generate all product images using Nano Banana Pro — including main product shots, lifestyle images, infographic PDP images, and benefit visuals
- Write or generate all store copy using Claude Opus 4.6 — product pages, homepage, about page, FAQ, and any additional content sections
- Set up navigation, collections, product pages, and variant structures
- Install and configure Shopify apps — Loox, ---------- , upsell/cross-sell apps, subscription tools, email capture, and other functionality-enhancing apps
- Build out trust and conversion elements — money-back guarantee sections, comparison tables, ingredient breakdowns, testimonial carousels, and results timelines
- Ensure the store is fully functional, mobile-optimized, and ready to launch
- Handle revisions and feedback to refine design and content

1. How many Shopify stores have you built? Please share live examples or screenshots.

5. Walk us through your process for building a branded store when you're given only a product, a brand name, and minimal assets. How do you go from zero to a finished store?

COMPENSATION

$50 CAD per store build

This is a part-time position, but we are looking for someone available for long-term collaboration with ongoing projects. We are scaling quickly and will have consistent store builds coming through.
