##ABOUT THE ROLE
We operate a high-volume ecommerce dropshipping business running multiple stores and markets in parallel.
The business follows a mass testing model with paid traffic. This requires strong operational discipline, fast decision-making, and constant monitoring of the infrastructure behind the business.
We are looking for an Operations Manager / COO who will be responsible for overseeing the operational backbone of the company.
Your role is to ensure that the business infrastructure remains stable, that teams execute correctly, and that operational problems are solved quickly.
This is a high ownership role. You will be responsible for keeping the operation running smoothly while the business scales.
##BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT
You will operate inside a performance-driven ecommerce environment with:
• Multiple Shopify stores
• Multiple payment processors (Shopify Payments, PayPal, Stripe, etc.)
• Continuous advertising activity (Meta Ads)
• Multiple suppliers and operational partners
• A remote team working across different functions
The business moves quickly. Operational stability and problem-solving are critical.
##CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Infrastructure
You will oversee the backend infrastructure of the business.
This includes:
• Monitoring payment processor setups
• Ensuring backup processors are always available
• Managing processor warmups
• Opening and integrating new payment processors when needed
• Ensuring operational continuity when issues arise
Advertising Infrastructure
You will manage the operational side of advertising infrastructure.
This includes:
• Managing ad account top-ups
• Ensuring advertising accounts remain funded and operational
• Monitoring potential risks related to advertising infrastructure
Payment Processor Management
You will manage relationships with payment processors and handle operational issues.
This includes:
• Handling processor reviews
• Managing payment processor bans or restrictions
• Coordinating required documentation or responses
• Ensuring payment infrastructure remains stable
Agency & Partner Management
You will manage relationships with external partners and service providers.
This includes:
• Agencies
• Service providers
• Operational partners
You will ensure that partners deliver what is expected and that communication remains clear and efficient.
Team Leadership
You will help drive execution across the team.
This includes:
• Monitoring team execution
• Ensuring tasks are completed
• Helping resolve operational bottlenecks
• Keeping the team aligned with business priorities
KPI Monitoring
You will track operational performance across the business.
This includes:
• Monitoring KPIs across different departments
• Identifying problems early
• Escalating issues when necessary
Operational Problem Solving
A key part of the role is identifying and solving operational issues.
You will:
• Monitor internal communication channels
• Review team chats and operational discussions
• Identify problems affecting the business
• Propose concrete solutions to unblock the team
##MANDATORY EXPERIENCE
You must have previous experience working in an ecommerce or dropshipping operation.
You must understand:
• Shopify operations
• Payment processors (Shopify Payments, PayPal, Stripe, etc.)
• Advertising infrastructure (Meta Ads)
• Operational workflows in ecommerce businesses
You must also demonstrate:
• Strong problem-solving ability
• Operational ownership
• Clear and structured communication
Candidates without ecommerce operational experience will not be considered.
