We sell professional pressure washing and soft washing equipment online. We need someone to run our social media presence across all platforms — TikTok, Instagram,
This is not a "schedule some posts and disappear" role. You'll be the voice of our brand online — engaging our community, writing copy that converts, building relationships with influencers in the cleaning industry, and coordinating with our video editor to distribute content strategically.
You'll own:
— Posting strategy and content calendar across all platforms
— Captions, copy, and hashtag strategy for every post
— DMs, comments, and community engagement (you are the front line)
— Influencer and affiliate outreach in the pressure washing / home services space
— Coordinating with our video editor on content scheduling and distribution
— Proposing strategy, getting approval, then running it independently
The goal: Brand awareness + community of pressure washing contractors + driving traffic and sales to our site. You need to understand all three and know which lever to pull when.
Think Duolingo, Gymshark, Judy's Family Cafe — brands that lead with personality, not product specs. If you don't know who these are, this probably isn't the right fit.
Ads coordination: You'll work closely with our ads manager to ensure paid content hits as hard as our organic. That means reviewing ad creative before it goes live, making sure the copy and visuals match the voice and standards we've built organically, flagging what's working in organic that could be turned into a paid ad, and sharing audience insights from your community engagement that can sharpen ad targeting. You don't run the ads — but you're the quality filter and the bridge between what our audience responds to organically and what we put dollars behind.
On AI: We expect you to use AI tools on the job to move faster and work smarter — that's a plus, not a problem. But during the hiring process, we need to see YOUR thinking. Every response, every Loom, every answer should be 100% your own brain. We're hiring a strategist, not a prompt engineer. If we sense AI-generated answers in your application or communications, you're out. We need someone who can think originally and uses AI to enhance their output — not replace it.
Don't apply if you think social media management is just scheduling posts, you can't write engaging copy on the fly, or you've never grown and engaged a real community.
