JOB TITLE: Real Estate Video Editor

SUMMARY:
The Real Estate Video Editor is responsible for creating captivating visual content to enhance our real estate listings. This role involves video editing, file management, and ensuring client satisfaction. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills, creative flair, and a commitment to maintaining the aesthetic standards of our company.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Edit and produce high-quality real estate videos.
- Edit engaging, trendy social media content tailored for platforms like Instagram Reels and TikTok.
- Collaborate with the creative team to ensure a seamless production process.
- Manage and organize video files efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with the team.
- Oversee video projects from start to finish.
- Stay updated on industry trends, video editing techniques, and emerging technologies to enhance the quality and innovation of real estate videos.
- Incorporate client feedback into video edits, making necessary adjustments to meet client expectations and improve overall video quality.
- Adhere to project timelines and deadlines, managing time efficiently to deliver high-quality videos within specified timeframes.
- Stay current with social media trends and apply them creatively to real estate and lifestyle content.
- Use editing techniques that enhance pacing, storytelling, and visual appeal in short-form videos.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience working with Final Cut Pro
- Previous experience in Real Estate or similar industry
- Previous experience mixing music for videos
- Strong understanding of current social media trends, audio, transitions, and pacing
WORK HOURS:
This is starting as a part-time position, ranging from 20-30+ hours per week, and will become full time once you are fully trained. Weekend availability may be required.
Salary Range:
Training: $5/hr
Partially trained (Able to fully edit talking head videos to our standard): $7/hr
Fully trained (Able to edit full real estate videos to our standard): $9.50/hr

- Willingness to go above and beyond to deliver for our clients outside of business hours as needed.
- 100% remote role
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in professional or independent video editing.
- Experience or familiarity with the real estate industry is a plus, as it provides insights into the specific requirements and expectations of real estate video production.
