About This Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Shopify Specialist to manage the backend operations, content management, and website development of our e-commerce platforms. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and experienced in handling day-to-day Shopify tasks. You'll ensure clean product data, accurate listings, smooth launches, and performance tracking, playing a key role in optimizing our storefront.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage product uploads on Shopify, including SKUs, descriptions, tags, images, and alt text
Maintain and update product kits, bundles, personalization options, and custom fields
Perform regular quality checks across desktop and mobile to ensure a smooth UX
Monitor and report bugs, site issues, or design gaps
Maintain an organized image drive and product attribute tracker
Support product launches and seasonal collection updates
Create and manage UPC codes and Shopify metafields
Pull and analyze sales data to support merchandising and marketing teams
Set up and track promo codes and sales campaigns
Monitor reviews and customer feedback for trends and insights
Develop and enhance Shopify websites to improve user experience and functionality
Software/Platforms/Tools that we use:
Shopify
Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
ClickUp
3PL WMS or related fulfillment systems
Various Shopify apps
Qualifications:
At least 3 years of freelancing experience
Strong background in e-commerce operations, product data management, and website development
Advanced spreadsheet/reporting skills and analytical mindset
Experience with Shopify backend and apps
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Highly organized and proactive with excellent attention to detail
Fast learner with new tools and platforms
Prior experience with direct-to-consumer (DTC) or US-based e-commerce brands is a plus
Shift Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm US EST
