JOB OVERVIEW

We specialize in commercial lighting solutions, working closely with, architects, engineers, interior designers, and builders across the U.S. We are expanding our design team and looking for a talented lighting designer who can deliver professional, U.S.-standard lighting layouts and specifications.

**Position Overview**

We are seeking a Lighting Designer with proven experience in commercial lighting design. The ideal candidate must have direct experience working with U.S. projects, codes, and design standards. This is a long-term remote position with growth potential.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Create lighting designs for decorative and architectural applications in commercial projects.
- Prepare construction drawings, reflected ceiling plans, lighting layouts, and fixture specifications.
- Develop AutoCAD drawings, 3D models, rendering perspectives, and presentation boards.
- Provide fixture schedules for client approval and vendor coordination.
- Collaborate with U.S.-based sales reps, project managers, and clients to understand requirements.
- Ensure designs meet U.S. building codes, energy standards, and best practices.

**Requirements**

- Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in lighting design (commercial).
- Portfolio of U.S. projects (please include with your application).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and at least one lighting/visualization software (Dialux or AGi32)
- Strong skills in 3D modeling, renderings, and lighting simulations.
- Knowledge of photometrics, lighting controls, and energy efficiency standards.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Ability to work U.S. business hours for part of the day.
- Experience collaborating with U.S. architects, interior designers, engineers and builders
- Knowledge of LEED, Title 24, or other U.S. energy codes.
- Experience with both decorative fixtures and architectural lighting systems.
