Role Overview
We are looking for an Advanced Bookkeeper who can support the day-to-day financial operations of The Lookout Towers. This role goes beyond basic bookkeeping.
You will help monitor daily cash flow, maintain financial records, and provide financial visibility that helps leadership make informed decisions. The ideal candidate has experience close to a Controller-level role within a growing company.
This is not a full-scale CFO position, but we are looking for someone who is comfortable handling higher-level financial responsibilities.

Responsibilities
- Track and manage daily cash flow
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping and financial records
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Monitor financial transactions and ensure proper documentation
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports
- Support budget tracking and financial forecasting
- Identify financial trends, risks, or discrepancies
- Help build and monitor cost structures and revenue expectations across multiple balance sheets
- Keep financial records organized for tax preparation and reporting
- Work closely with leadership to provide financial insights when needed

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Senior Bookkeeper, Financial Controller, or similar advanced accounting role
- Strong experience with QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting systems
- Solid understanding of cash flow management and financial reporting
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage financial responsibilities with minimal supervision
- Experience supporting founders or leadership teams is a strong advantage
- Strong English communication skills

Shift Schedule
Must be able to coordinate with leadership in the MST (Mountain Standard Time) timezone
