ABOUT HONCHO

Honcho is a platform that helps photographers deliver photos instantly at events. Guests can scan a QR code, upload a selfie, and use AI-powered face recognition to quickly find the photos they appear in.

Our customers include brands, organisers, and photographers covering weddings, corporate activations, sports events, marathons, and headshot booths around the world.

We’re looking for a videographer to capture and produce short-form social media videos (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) that showcase real photographers and workflows.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

You’ll help turn real photography workflows into engaging social media content.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Capturing or sourcing video footage of photography workflows, setups, and demonstrations (either filming simple clips yourself or coordinating with photographers and users to obtain footage)
• Editing short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
• Creating engaging hooks, captions, and overlays for videos
• Repurposing content across multiple platforms
• Posting and scheduling content across social media channels
• Turning raw footage into 3–5 social media posts per week
• Creating occasional carousel or photo posts
• Assisting with creator / influencer outreach
• Monitoring performance and suggesting improvements

Most content will focus on:

• Event photography workflows
• Instant photo delivery
• Headshot booth setups
• Real-world photography demonstrations

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You’re a great fit if you:

• Have experience creating short-form video content from start to finish (capture ? edit ? publish)
• Comfortable capturing simple video clips or sourcing footage from users and creators to turn into engaging short-form content
• Have strong skills editing Reels / TikTok / Shorts
• Know how to create engaging hooks in the first few seconds
• Are comfortable adding captions, overlays, and visual storytelling
• Have strong written English for captions and titles
• Are proactive and curious about content ideas

Bonus if you:

• Are familiar with photography workflows
• Have experience growing social media accounts
• Have worked with creators or influencers
