JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a performance-focused video editor who understands how to create short-form ads that convert.

You will work with our creative library and ad testing framework to turn scripts and raw footage into scroll-stopping paid ads.

This role focuses on editing paid social ads for fast-growing ecommerce brands, including Nonoise and Coffee Table Diaries.

You won’t just be cutting clips. You will help turn scripts, raw footage, and B-roll into high-performing ad creatives designed for conversion.

You will work directly with the founder and have significant ownership over the creative output.

If you enjoy experimenting with hooks, pacing, and creative formats to improve ad performance, this role will be a strong fit.

What You’ll Be Editing

• Short-form paid social ads for Meta (Facebook & Instagram)
• UGC-style talking head videos
• Product demonstrations and testimonials
• Multi-clip edits combining footage and sourced B-roll
• Variations of winning ads for creative testing

These are performance ads, not cinematic or long-form YouTube edits.

We care about:

• clear storytelling
• strong hooks
• pacing that keeps attention
• captions and visual clarity
• ads that convert

Output Expectations

You will typically edit:

10–15 short-form ads per week

This assumes scripts and main clips are provided, with minimal B-roll sourcing.

Many ads will be variations of existing winning creatives.

Your role will often involve improving:

• hooks
• pacing
• structure
• visual storytelling

Quality and creative thinking matter more than raw volume.

Creative Library & Editing References

To help you understand the type of ads we produce, we maintain a creative reference library.

You can view it here:

----------

This library contains examples of high-performing ad formats, including:
• UGC testimonial ads
• Problem / solution ads
• Product demonstration ads
• Hook variations and pattern interrupts
You won’t be copying ads directly.
Instead, the library helps you understand:
• how strong hooks are structured
• how clips are paced to maintain attention
• how visuals support the script and message
This allows you to focus on execution and creative improvement rather than guessing the style we want.

Brands You’ll Work On:
Nonoise
Performance-focused ecommerce ads.

• lifestyle storytelling
• product-focused edits
These creatives require strong visual taste and pacing.

What We’re Looking For
You’re likely a strong fit if you:
• Have experience editing paid social ads
• Understand how paid ads differ from organic content
• Think in terms of hooks, pacing, and scroll-stopping visuals
• Can source supporting B-roll when needed
• Work independently and take ownership of your output
• Care about details, captions, and clarity

Tools & Workflow
You may use any professional editing tool, including:
• CapCut
• Premiere Pro
• After Effects
• Final Cut
• Other tools you prefer

Experience using AI tools in your workflow is a strong advantage.
Examples include:

• Creative thinking when improving ads
• Attention to detail in pacing and clarity

You should enjoy experimenting with new creative approaches and improving performance over time.

Growth Opportunity
We are building a small but ambitious creative team.

You will have the opportunity to:
• take ownership of larger creative projects
• contribute ideas for ad testing and creative strategy
• work with additional tea ---------- mbers such as designers and content specialists

This is a long-term role for someone who wants to grow with the team.

Compensation
$1,200 – $1,600 USD per month
Salary depends on experience, speed, and quality of work.
