Position Summary
You'll be preparing financial statements, tax returns, and providing practical support.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys public practice, values balance, and wants to develop their skills in a calm, well-structured environment, without the pressure and politics of a large firm.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare financial statements for a range of clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards
Assist with the preparation and lodgement of individual, company, trust, and partnership tax returns
Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in financial records
Ensure compliance with Australian tax laws and regulations
Work collaboratively with the team to meet deadlines in a planned and sustainable way
Stay up to date with changes in tax legislation and accounting standards
Participate in ongoing training and professional development

Prior Karbon experience is highly desirable.
Skills & Experience
2–4 years of experience in Australian public practice accounting
Solid understanding of accounting principles and tax compliance
Experience in preparing financial statements and tax returns
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Good communication skills and a client-focused approach
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a structured environment
