TURN YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA SCROLLING INTO A REMOTE JOB (Influencer Research + DM VA)
If you spend way too much time on Instagram/TikTok checking gym creators, this might be the easiest job you ever land.
We’re a Gen-Z–run app studio building a fast-growing fitness app, and we’re hiring VAs to help us research, reach out to, and build relationships with influencers.
- No experience required.
- No resume required.
- Just strong English + good judgment + social media instincts.
- Must work NYC timezones! (in between 9am to 5pm)
If you understand gym culture, talk like a human, and type like a native English speaker, you’re already ahead of 99% of applicants.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
This role is part lead generation, part DM outreach, part relationship management.
Your daily tasks:
- Find new fitness creators (gym/lifting niche only)
- Add them to our Google Sheet with the correct info (username, followers, country,
- Evaluate their profile quality (are they legit, on-brand, and worth reaching out to?)
- DM influencers using our scripts
- Handle the conversation in a friendly, natural, professional way
- Answer questions, keep the convo alive, and push creators toward collaboration
- Follow up consistently
- Track responses and organize leads properly
You’ll basically be the person discovering new influencers and bringing them into the brand.
We’ll teach you everything; you just need strong English and social media instincts.
YOU’RE A FIT IF YOU
- Have very strong written English (this is the #1 requirement)
- Can communicate clearly and confidently
- Know the gym/fitness niche (huge bonus)
- Are organized and detail-oriented
- Can follow instructions EXACTLY
- Are comfortable reaching out to people on social media
- Have good judgment (can spot fake/farm accounts instantly)
- Are under 28 (our team is young)
- Want part-time remote work you can do from anywhere

Use this Google Sheet template (make a copy of the sheet to modify it):
You must complete:
Rows 3–13 — Note the leads as PASS or FAIL
Look at the creators already listed and ONLY fill the PASS / FAIL column (1st column of the table).
Base your decision on:
- Fitness/gym relevance (are they a gym influencer?)
- Their country (our target audience is North American countries and 1st world countries)
- High number of views (100 000 median views minimum)
*Little tip, less than 50% are good :)*
Rows 14–23 — Add your favorite 10 Fitness Creators (based on the same criterias that were used for rows 3-13)
Add:
- Username
- Instagram profile link
- Number of followers
- Median views per reel (approximately)
- Full name

These must be real gym/lifting creators. No deep digging. Just fast and accurate, we already have these infos on 99% of the industry, we just want to see if you understand simple, straightforward instructions!
QUESTIONNAIRE part 2 (AFTER YOU GOT SELECTED FOR THE 2ND ROUND) — 1-3 Minutes Introduction Video
Record a simple phone video (no editing needed) and answer:
- Who you are
- Any experience with customer support jobs, social media or research
- How comfortable you are chatting with influencers through DMs
- Why you’re a good fit for this role
Just speak clearly and naturally.
