JOB OVERVIEW

Position: Photo Editor / Retoucher
Location: Remote
Pay: $3–$5 per hour
Type: Part-time / Long-term

About the Job

I run a professional photography studio in New Jersey (USA) specializing in corporate headshots, portraits, and weddings.

I’m looking for a reliable photo editor with real experience editing people and weddings. This role includes photo editing, wedding culling, and some basic short-form video editing.

You must be able to work quickly, follow instructions carefully, and communicate clearly in English.

Required Software Experience

You must have experience using:

• Adobe Lightroom
• Adobe Photoshop
• Evoto
• Aftershoot

Bonus if you also have experience with:

• CapCut
• Instagram Reels editing
• Short-form social media video editing

Please do not apply if you do not have experience with these tools.

Responsibilities
Photo Editing

• Color correction in Lightroom
• Exposure and white balance adjustments
• Cropping and straightening
• Portrait retouching using Photoshop or Evoto
• Removing blemishes and distractions
• Delivering clean, natural-looking edits

Wedding Culling

• Using Aftershoot to cull large wedding galleries
• Selecting the best photos from thousands of images
• Removing duplicates, blinks, and missed ---------- nts
• Organizing final selections

Video Editing (Basic)

• Editing short videos for Instagram Reels / social media
• Simple wedding highlight clips
• Basic editing using CapCut or similar software

What I’m Looking For

You must:

• Have real experience editing photos of people
• Know how to cull weddings efficiently
• Speak and write English well
• Be fast and reliable
• Follow instructions carefully
• Work independently without constant supervision

Turnaround Expectations

Most editing assignments must be completed within:

24–48 hours depending on project size.

Speed and consistency are very important.

Pay

$3 – $5 per hour depending on experience.
