Hours: Full-time, with minimum 6 hours daily overlap with Australian Eastern Time

About Us
We are a fast-growing, 100% Australian-owned industrial gas and LPG company based in Melbourne, Victoria.
We operate two brands:
Pure Gas (B2B) — Industrial, commercial, and trade gas supply across Melbourne and regional Victoria.
Key segments include forklift gas, welding gas, dry ice, CO?, hospitality gas, and commercial LPG.
Macedon Gas (D2C) — Residential 45kg LPG cylinder delivery across the Macedon Ranges and surrounding growth areas.
A new production facility is coming online in 2026, and there is a time-sensitive market opportunity in our region. We need a commercially minded marketer who can help us capture demand now.
The Role
This is a performance marketing role.
Your job is to generate qualified inbound leads and revenue through:
Google Ads
Local SEO / Google Business Profile
AI-assisted research, execution, and reporting
This is not a social media manager role.
This is not a general content role.
This is a search-first lead generation role.
What You Will Do
Build, manage, and optimise Google Search campaigns for both brands
Improve local SEO and Google Business Profile visibility across our service areas
Help generate more qualified enquiries for example :
forklift gas
industrial and trade gas
commercial LPG
residential LPG delivery
Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Perplexity as part of your real workflow for keyword research, ad copy drafting, competitor analysis, reporting, and campaign diagnostics
Review campaign performance weekly and recommend what to scale, pause, or improve
Work with us on conversion-focused landing page direction and messaging, even if the page build itself is done by someone else
Coordinate with internal sales/admin so inbound leads are captured and followed up

Campaign audit completed
Priority keyword map completed
Initial Google Ads campaigns live or restructured
Google Business Profiles reviewed and improved

Stronger local search visibility in priority territories
Better lead quality from search campaigns
Clear view of which campaigns, keywords, and locations are producing real enquiries
Recommendations in place for new landing pages or segment pages where needed

Stronger presence for Macedon Gas in local search
Written 90-day review: what is working, what is not, and what to scale next
Must-Have Skills
4+ years hands-on Google Ads experience
Strong local SEO / Google Business Profile experience
Clear understanding of lead generation for service or B2B businesses
Strong English communication
Commercial mindset: you think in lead quality, cost per lead, conversion rate, and revenue impact
Practical daily use of AI tools in your workflow
Preferred, Not Required
Meta Ads experience
Australian market experience
Agency experience managing multiple lead-generation accounts
Basic GA4 / conversion tracking understanding
Experience with service-area businesses, trade businesses, logistics, industrial, or local delivery businesses

A pure SEO writer with no paid search experience
A general VA with light marketing exposure
Someone who needs step-by-step daily instruction
