About the Role
We are looking for a highly detail-oriented Construction Estimator based in the Philippines to support U.S.-based construction projects.
The ideal candidate has strong experience reviewing construction drawings, performing accurate quantity takeoffs, and preparing cost estimates for residential and commercial construction projects.
This role requires someone who can work independently, analyze drawings carefully, and deliver accurate estimates within deadlines.
Experience with MEP takeoffs is required.
Key Responsibilities
The estimator will be responsible for full construction takeoffs with a strong emphasis on MEP systems, including:
• Performing MEP takeoffs (Electrical, Mechanical/HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection)
• Performing general construction takeoffs (architectural, structural, finishes)
• Quantity takeoffs for labor and material
• Preparing detailed cost breakdowns and estimate summaries
• Reviewing drawings, specifications, and project addenda
• Identifying scope gaps, exclusions, and assumptions
• Supporting bid preparation and estimate revisions
• Organizing takeoff data for quick revisions and re-pricing
Qualifications
Required
• 3–5+ years of construction estimating experience
• MEP takeoff experience is mandatory (candidates without MEP experience will not be considered)
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
• Proven experience performing takeoffs independently
• Strong analytical and attention-to-detail skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Preferred
• Experience working with U.S. construction projects
• Familiarity with U.S. building codes
• Experience with commercial and residential estimating

Compensation
Hourly Rate: $6 – $10 per hour (depending on experience)
Schedule: Part-time to start (20–30 hours per week)
Potential: Opportunity to grow into a full-time role based on workload
This is a remote contract position.

This role is production-focused, meaning:
• Accuracy is critical
• Ability to work efficiently is important
• Estimates must be organized and easy to revise
Candidates must be comfortable working with U.S. construction drawings and scopes.
A test takeoff may be required before final selection.
