JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a creative and detail oriented Web Designer with 3+ years of experience designing and building modern websites using no code and low code CMS platforms such as Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, and WordPress with Elementor. This role is also intended for Filipino independent contractors, as hiring and engagement will be managed through the OnlineJobs.ph platform based on the client’s preference.

The role focuses on creating visually compelling, responsive, and high performing websites with strong UX and UI execution. You will work on business websites, landing pages, and e commerce experiences, translating design ideas into clean, functional digital experiences with minimal custom code.

Role Overview

Project based contract role. Work will be assigned per project depending on client needs and internal project allocation.

Project based contract with an hourly rate starting at $7 per hour, with adjustments based on experience, role fit, and application performance, up to $8 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

Design and build responsive websites using Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, and WordPress with Elementor

Customize CMS templates using native tools, drag and drop builders, and light HTML or CSS adjustments

Translate wireframes and mockups from Figma into fully realized website designs

Create user centered layouts optimized for performance, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness

Develop e commerce experiences including product pages, collections, and checkout flows using Shopify and WooCommerce

Maintain consistency with brand guidelines, UI standards, and visual hierarchy

Optimize websites for SEO, site speed, and cross browser compatibility

Collaborate with internal teams or clients to define design requirements and deliver projects

Provide post launch refinements and CMS guidance when needed

Qualifications

3+ years of web design experience using no code or low code CMS platforms

Strong portfolio demonstrating modern, responsive web design

Solid understanding of UX and UI principles, visual hierarchy, and responsive design

Experience designing e commerce websites using Shopify or WooCommerce

Comfortable working with CMS tools and performing light HTML or CSS adjustments

Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to manage multiple projects

Nice to Have

Experience implementing branding systems across websites
Familiarity with Google Analytics, heatmap tools, and A B testing
Understanding of WCAG accessibility standards
Experience with motion graphics or web animations using After Effects or Lottie
Ability to recommend CMS platforms based on project needs
