We’re a US-based B2B technology company looking for a Podcast Video Editor & Content Designer to own content production from raw podcast episodes to short-form video and supporting visual assets.
This role is not just about cutting clips. You will turn long-form conversations into polished content that is clear, modern, and built for performance across YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram and other social channels.
You should know how to turn strong ideas into strong content fast, with clean editing, sharp judgment, and simple professional design.
What You’ll Do:
Podcast Editing
- Edit full podcast episodes for YouTube and other platforms
- Clean up pacing, remove dead space, and improve flow
- Ensure strong audio/video sync and polished final delivery
- Export and organize final files correctly
Short-Form Video
- Identify the strongest
- Turn them into high-retention short-form videos
- Edit for hook, pacing, clarity, and watchability
- Add clean, readable captions and minimal on-screen emphasis
- Format for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and LinkedIn
Content Design
- Create clean visual assets that support published content, including:
Thumbnails
Quote cards
Carousels
Infographics
Simple visual frameworks or checklists,
- Keep design modern, professional, and consistent with brand style
- Turn technical ideas into simple visuals for B2B and IT audiences
Creative Ownership
- Suggest better ways to package and present content
- Recommend stronger hooks, cuts, and content formats
- Build repeatable templates and systems that improve speed and consistency
What Good Looks Like:
- Full episodes are polished and easy to follow
- Shorts are tight, engaging, and start strong
- Captions are clean, accurate, and easy to read
- Design assets look modern, simple, and professional
- You work independently and deliver without constant hand-holding
- You improve output, not just execute tasks
- Quality stays high as speed improves
Requirements:
- Strong experience editing podcast videos, both full episodes and shorts
- Strong judgment in selecting clips and shaping short-form content
- Strong graphic design skills with a clean, minimalist style
- Experience with Descript, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Canva
- Strong attention to detail and organized file management
- Strong English communication skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with B2B, IT, cybersecurity, MSP, or business content
- Ability to create simple motion graphics
- Basic understanding of performance signals like retention, engagement, and watch time
