Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategically minded Finance and Accounting Supervisor to lead and oversee the full financial, managerial accounting, tax, and treasury functions of our group of companies. The Finance and Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring sound financial governance, borrowing and funding oversight, accounting and tax compliance, and long-term financial strategy aligned with the organization’s growth objectives.
This role requires exceptional professionalism, integrity, maturity, and leadership. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, providing clear financial insight, risk management, and strategic direction while maintaining strong operational control over all finance-related functions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee all financial, managerial accounting, tax, and treasury functions across the group
Prepare, review, and approve consolidated financial statements and tax returns in accordance with applicable accounting standards
Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements, tax legislation, and financial reporting obligations
Oversee borrowing, funding structures, cash flow management, and relationships with financial institutions
Direct budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes
Provide financial analysis and strategic insights to support executive and board-level decision-making
Oversee tax planning, submissions, audits, and engagements relating to income tax, payroll tax, and other applicable taxes
Manage relationships with external auditors, regulators, banks, and professional advisors
Design, implement, and maintain robust internal controls, financial governance, and risk management frameworks
Identify financial, operational, and regulatory risks and develop mitigation strategies
Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement
Oversee finance-related projects and ensure timely delivery across multiple workstreams
Qualifications & Requirements
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or equivalent professional qualification (mandatory)
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA advantageous)
Minimum of 3–5 years post-qualification experience in senior financial leadership roles
Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, tax legislation, and financial regulations
Proven experience in financial reporting, tax compliance, audit management, and treasury functions
Demonstrated ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels
Advanced proficiency in accounting systems, financial reporting tools, and Microsoft Excel
Exceptional attention to detail, analytical ability, and sound commercial judgment
Strong leadership, communication, project management, and multi-tasking skills
