JOB OVERVIEW

We are building a U.S.-focused service booking platform where customers can get instant pricing and book services online.

The most important part of this project is creating a smooth, fast, mobile-friendly ordering experience.

THE PROJECT

You will build a WordPress website with an integrated quote and booking system.

Customer flow:

? ZIP code or location
? Select services/items
? Adjust quantities
? See real-time price calculation
? Upload photos (optional)
? Enter address and service date/time
? Pay via Stripe
? Receive booking confirmation

After booking:

Website
? Zapier automation
? Workiz job created automatically

Workiz will be used as the dispatch system.

The site must be SEO optimized from launch.

• correct heading hierarchy (H1/H2/H3)
• schema markup for local services
• optimized URLs / permalinks
• XML sitemap
• robots.txt
• image optimization
• internal linking

SEO plugin:

• RankMath (preferred)
• Yoast SEO

PAGE STRUCTURE

Create SEO-ready templates for:

• Home page
• Service pages
• City / location pages
• How It Works
• Pricing
• FAQ

These pages should support local search traffic and lead generation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will:

• Build the full MVP website (5-20 days)
• Develop the dynamic quote calculator
• Implement real-time pricing logic
• Integrate Stripe payments
• Connect bookings to Workiz dispatch
• Configure Zapier automation
• Implement technical SEO setup
• Optimize page speed and performance
• Provide documentation and handover
• Provide ongoing maintenance

REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must have:

• 3+ years WordPress development
• Experience building booking systems or quote calculators
• Experience with Fluent Forms or Gravity Forms
• Experience integrating Stripe
• Experience using Zapier
• Experience integrating Workiz or similar dispatch software
• Understanding of technical SEO

Bonus experience:

• service booking platforms
• home services websites
• service marketplaces

PAID TEST TASK

We start with a small paid prototype ($100-$200).

If the prototype looks good, we proceed with the full project. Once the full project is complete, there will be ongoing work required as the business grows. A Product roadmap will be developed to ensure there is a steady flow of enhancements over time.
