We’re hiring a remote Virtual Assistant to support operations. This role is ideal for individuals who work well with flexible hours and can operate independently while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and strong communication.
The position starts part-time with the goal of moving into a long-term, full-time role and higher leadership opportunities for strong performers.
Responsibilities:
- Manage external communications with third parties to gather information, resolve issues, and ensure smooth operations
- Complete administrative and operational tasks with strong attention to detail and an investigative/accounting mindset to identify discrepancies or inconsistencies
- Follow both structured and unstructured SOPs independently
- Proactively identify and flag workflow issues, unclear instructions, or edge cases
- Maintain clear documentation or handoffs when needed to ensure continuity
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in administrative support, customer support, or operations
- Excellent written English and clear communication skills
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable following SOPs and making judgment calls when needed
- Strong investigative and analytical skills, with an ability to spot patterns, discrepancies, or errors
- Experience communicating effectively with external partners or third parties
- Required: Computer running **macOS** (Mac or MacBook)
- Ideal: Familiarity with tools such as Slack, Linear, Intercom, and Craft
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet work environment
Shift Expectation:
- Flexible hours with regular availability during Pacific Time (US/Los Angeles)
Compensation:
- Starting rate: $4/hour
- Part-time hours to start, with the goal of transitioning into a full-time role
- Growth opportunities based on performance and reliability
- Payments are made weekly every Monday via Wise
