SEO Technical Lead & Project Manager (Philippines)

We run a rapidly growing performance marketing agency based in Melbourne, Australia. We specialise in SEO, paid media and Fractional CMO services for medium to large businesses across Australia.

We operate differently from traditional agencies.

Our model combines senior strategic leadership with specialist execution teams, using modern SEO methodologies, performance data, AI-powered efficiencies and structured systems inside ClickUp. We focus on commercial outcomes — not vanity metrics.

We work with brands across B2B, SaaS, education, energy, sport and eCommerce — helping them scale through structured, insight-driven marketing.

As we grow, we are building a world-class offshore delivery team to support our Australian client base.
This role is an opportunity to take ownership of SEO delivery inside a modern, process-driven agency with strong growth ambitions.

The Opportunity
We are looking for a highly capable SEO Technical Lead who can own technical delivery, manage content strategy execution and help us build scalable SEO systems.

This is not a task-based role. This is a leadership position within our SEO function.
You will work closely with senior strategy leads in Australia and play a key role in building our SEO playbook and delivery engine.

Key Responsibilities
- Technical SEO Ownership
- Conduct advanced technical audits
- Identify and prioritise SEO improvements
- Liaise directly with developers and key stakeholders
- Implement schema, internal linking and structural improvements
- Manage indexing, crawl and site health issues

Content Strategy & Briefing
- Conduct keyword research aligned to commercial goals
- Develop structured content briefs
- Identify content gaps and growth opportunities
- Support content production where required

Backlink Project Management
- Manage third-party backlink providers
- Monitor link quality and authority growth
- Ensure link building aligns with overall SEO strategy

Reporting & Insights
- Manage SEO platforms (SE Ranking, SEMrush, GA4, GSC)
- Produce monthly reports
- Translate data into strategic recommendations

Playbook & Systems Development
- Build and refine our SEO playbook
- Document SOPs in ClickUp
- Standardise templates and processes

KPIs
- Ranking improvements for priority keywords
- Growth in organic traffic
- Growth in organic conversions
- Technical health improvements
- On-time delivery
- Client satisfaction

What We’re Looking For
- 3–5+ years of SEO experience
- Strong technical SEO capability
- Experience working with developers
- Advanced knowledge of SEO platforms
- Strong documentation and systems mindset
- Proactive, commercially aware thinking
