JOB OVERVIEW:
We are a U.S. Pain Management Clinic looking for a true eClinicalWorks (eCW) implementation expert.
This is NOT a trainee role and NOT a basic eCW user role.
We are looking for someone who has personally built eCW workflows from scratch and can think like an architect — not someone who only follows an existing workflow.
You must have real hands-on experience with:
- Smart Forms
- templates
- order sets
- workflow design and optimization
- eCW v11 or v12
- improving clinic efficiency and reducing clicks
Strong preference for candidates who have experience with:
- Pain Management templates (HPI, Physical Exam, Assessment/Plan)
- procedure order sets
- mid-office workflow design
- referral and schedule workflow improvements
- CPT explosion
- mandatory diagnosis rules
- claim scrubbing / denial prevention rules
Ideal candidate:
- has done real eCW implementation or optimization work before
- can design the workflow, not just follow it
- can explain exactly what they personally built
- can show redacted/de-identified examples or do a live walkthrough
- has worked for eClinicalWorks, an implementation team, or a specialized RCM/consulting firm
DO NOT APPLY IF:
- you only used eCW as a front desk staff member, MA, scribe, scheduler, or biller
- you need someone else to tell you what to build
- you have never created Smart Forms, templates, or order sets from scratch
- you cannot clearly describe your implementation experience
PROJECT DETAILS:
- Less than 30 hours/week
- 1 to 3 month project to start
- Ongoing work possible for the right person
- Paid working interview / test task required
HOW TO APPLY:
Put ECW ARCHITECT in the first line of your application and answer ALL of these:
1. How many years of hands-on eCW implementation experience do you have?
2. What Smart Forms, templates, order sets, or workflows have you personally built?
3. Have you built anything for pain management or procedure-based clinics?
4. Which eCW versions have you worked in?
5. Have you worked for eClinicalWorks, an implementation firm, or an RCM company?
6. Can you show redacted/de-identified examples of your work?
7. Are you willing to do a paid working interview or test task?
8. What hourly rate do you want within the $8-$15 range?
Only experienced candidates with real build/implementation experience will be considered.
