As our Financial Accountant, you'll be the backbone of our financial health, ensuring accuracy and compliance across all financial operations. You'll be responsible for managing financial records, preparing detailed reports, and overseeing budgets and forecasts. This role requires a meticulous eye for detail and a proactive approach to financial planning and analysis. You’ll work closely with various departments to provide insights and ensure our financial practices align with industry standards. A proven track record in accounting, a deep understanding of financial regulations, and the ability to navigate complex financial data are essential for this position
Responsibilities:
- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and update accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals (including payroll, accruals, prepayments, deferrals), and bank reconciliations.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts to provide insights into the company’s financial performance.
- Financial Statements Preparation: Work closely with the external accountant to prepare the year end financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support strategic business decisions.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage the AP and AR functions including raising invoices, posting bills, PO system (Spendesk) managing the month end payment to suppliers and chasing customers for payments.
- Cash Flow Management: Maintain accurate monthly cash flow forecasts.
- Expense Tracking: Analyze and control company expenses to ensure alignment with budgetary constraints and financial goals.
- Payroll Processing: Manage payroll activities, including salary calculations, benefits administration, employee expenses, and compliance with employment laws.
- Internal Controls: Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Financial Software Management: Utilize and manage financial software tools for accounting, reporting, and data analysis.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and support strategic planning and operational efficiency.

Must-Haves
Relevant Qualification: A recognized accounting qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent.
Proven Experience: At least 5 years of experience in financial accounting or a related field.
Software Proficiency: Fully adept at using Xero and Stripe for financial management and reporting.
Work hours: 1pm Philippine Standard Time to 9.30pm Philippine Standard Time
Financial Reporting: Strong skills in preparing and analyzing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Accounts Management: Experience in managing accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and payment processing.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail in financial data handling and reporting.
