Job Title

Social Media Content Editor & Visual Creative

Role Summary

We are looking for a high-quality social media and video/image editor based in the Philippines who is proficient in English, highly organized, creative, and able to work with minimal supervision. This person will help turn ideas, raw footage, and brand direction into polished social media content that is engaging, on-brand, and ready to post.

This role is ideal for someone who is strong in short-form video editing, graphic design for social posts, content formatting, and visual storytelling.

Key Responsibilities

Edit short-form videos for social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn

Create image-based social media posts, carousels, thumbnails, and simple branded graphics

Add captions, text overlays, transitions, music, cuts, and formatting that improve engagement

Repurpose long-form or raw content into multiple short-form assets

Follow brand guidelines, tone, and style while also bringing creative ideas to improve content performance

Organize files, drafts, and finished assets in a clean and reliable way

Deliver content on time with minimal revisions needed

Communicate clearly in English regarding deadlines, feedback, and project updates

Ideal Candidate

Based in the Philippines

Strong written and spoken English

Skilled in tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Canva, Photoshop, or similar

Experienced in editing for social media performance, not just general video editing

Understands hooks, pacing, subtitles, retention editing, and platform-specific formatting

Can take a general direction and execute without needing constant oversight

Detail-oriented, responsive, and dependable

Has a strong portfolio of social media editing work

Success Metrics / KPIs

Production Metrics

On-time delivery rate: 95%+ of assignments delivered by deadline

Revision rate: Average of 2 or fewer revision rounds per asset

Output volume: Number of completed videos/posts per week

Turnaround time: Average time from assignment to first draft

Quality Metrics

Approval rate: % of first drafts approved with minimal edits

Brand consistency: Posts match brand style, tone, and visual standards

Attention to detail: Low frequency of spelling, formatting, caption, or export errors

Performance Metrics

Engagement support: Content contributes to stronger views, watch time, shares, saves, or comments

Retention quality: Videos have strong pacing and hooks that improve watch-through rates

Repurposing efficiency: Ability to turn one source asset into multiple usable content pieces

Communication / Ownership Metrics

Responsiveness: Replies within agreed working hours

Independence: Able to complete work with minimal hand-holding

Reliability: Follows instructions, manages files properly, and communicates blockers early
