JOB OVERVIEW

SENIOR MARKETING LEAD – REMOTE FULL-TIME ROLE (UK-Based B2B Tech Company)

Position: Senior Marketing Lead
Salary: Competitive and negotiable based on experience
Contract: Full-time, long-term (40 hours weekly), fully remote
Work Hours: 4 PM – 1 AM Manila Time, Monday to Friday (Weekends Off)

OVERVIEW

We are a small, specialist B2B technology company based in the UK and a certified Google Cloud partner. We sell software products and professional services to businesses and schools, mainly in the UK and US.

You will be our only dedicated marketer. There is a small team around you who can help with execution, but *you are the person who makes sure things get done*. You will plan, brief, create, and report — week in, week out. You will work directly with the CEO and be trusted to run marketing independently within agreed goals.

This is a long-term role ideally suited to someone aged 30–42 who has real B2B marketing experience behind them, enjoys variety, takes ownership naturally, and thrives when no two weeks look the same.


WHAT YOU WILL OWN

1. Content and SEO — minimum 2 blog posts per week across two B2B websites. You do not have to write every post but you must make sure every post gets written, edited, and published on time.

2. AI Engine Optimisation (AEO) — we need to appear when business buyers ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews about the problems we solve. You will structure content to make that happen and run monthly visibility checks.

3. YouTube channel and video — we are moving our website to a video-first format and this is a core part of the role. Our technical team records product demos. You brief them, manage the edit and publish process, run the YouTube channel, and lead the rollout of video across our web pages. You will also produce or direct short clips for LinkedIn and site embeds (around 4–8 per month to start).

4. Competitor monitoring — set up alerts, keep our comparison pages current, and update them quickly when competitors change pricing or positioning.

5. Email newsletter and LinkedIn — your channels to grow and maintain consistently.

6. Google Workspace partner community — other GWS partners and resellers should know who we are. Being visible in the right communities is a genuine competitive advantage and something we expect you to own.

7. Sales collateral — one-pagers and battlecards per product line. Write them or project manage them through the team.

8. Weekly update to the CEO and monthly KPI review.


KEY REQUIREMENTS

1. MINIMUM 5 years of hands-on marketing experiencei — this is a hard requirement, please do not apply if you do not meet it
2. Strong writer — clear, punchy, outcome-focused, no corporate fluff
3. Natural project manager who gets things done through people as well as themselves
4. Highly organised with a proven system for managing multiple workstreams at once
5. Daily user of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity etc.) — be ready to talk about this specifically
6. Solid SEO knowledge and genuine interest in AI search and AEO
7. Strong hands-on experience creating and producing marketing videos — this is essential.
8. Experience managing or directing a YouTube channel and video distribution
9. Deep working knowledge of Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Sites etc.) — we are a Google Cloud partner and you must be able to speak about GWS products credibly and confidently
10. Commercially minded — you track leads and pipeline, not just traffic and likes
11. Excellent written and spoken English
12. Professional home office setup for video calls


DESIRABLE

1. Experience marketing to US US enterprise buyers
2. Active presence in Google Workspace or Google Cloud partner communities
3. GA4 certified or strong hands-on Google Analytics experience
