About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Dispute Manager to handle Shopify Payments chargebacks and disputes on our behalf. You will own the full dispute process — from reviewing cases to submitting evidence — and help us recover revenue while keeping our chargeback ratio low.
Responsibilities
Handle disputes in Shopify Payments dashboard
Respond to all dispute types: Item Not Received (INR), Item Significantly Not as Described (SNAD), Unauthorized Transactions, Billing Errors, Duplicate Payments, and Canceled Subscriptions
Collect and submit evidence packages within platform deadlines
Track case outcomes and report on win rate, volume, and recovered amounts
Flag patterns or recurring issues that may indicate fraud or process gaps
Requirements
Proven experience handling Shopify Payments chargebacks (required)
Must include dispute win rate from previous role(s) in your application
Familiarity with all common dispute types and evidence best practices
Strong written English for crafting dispute responses
Able to work independently and meet strict deadlines
Compensation
$3.50 per hour OR Fixed amount per resolved dispute
Volume bonuses possible for consistently high win rates
