The Company
Matthew Dawe Mortgages is a New Zealand based young and growing mortgage company. We are passionate about helping clients get finance for their dream home, first home or investment property. We take the stress and confusion out of the mortgage process by helping clients get approved, negotiate with lenders & provide financial advice along the way. After a growth period we need someone to help with analysing client documents, writing deals, proposals & preparing servicing calculators. This involves reviewing & understanding a clients supporting information and packaging this up for presentation to lenders to help the client get approved. There are other credit related tasks such as research & property/security tasks as well as pricing & structure tasks. The Role
We are looking for a gun Mortgage Loan Processor | Credit Analyst | Loan Writer. You’ll analyse the client’s supporting documents, research lender criteria and package up/ produce a lender proposal/diary note and servicing calculator. Your goal will be to accurately & timely assist the Mortgage broker | Financial adviser to help clients get finance to purchase a home whilst providing excellent attention to detail along the way.
You will have at least 12 months experience as a Mortgage Loan Processor | Credit analyst for a New Zealand or Australian based mortgage broker. The right person for this role will know how to package a deal, and can research lender criteria, understand the clients deposit, income, bank statements and other supporting documents, and produce a thorough proposal and servicing calculator. This involves carefully checking your work and following a process.
Your success will enable us to help more clients, by freeing up/ supporting the Mortgage broker | Financial adviser. Ideally you will have 12 months+ experience as a loan writer analysing client documents, packaging & writing up deals. We are after a self-starter who is driven by constant improving & learning as a personal philosophy, has a high attention to detail and takes pride in their work. This role would suit someone who takes the initiative, is adaptable and can follow a system to a successful result.
Requirements
• Experience: Proven 12 months+ experience working for a New Zealand or Australian based mortgage broker as a loan processor | credit analyst analysing a clients supporting documents, researching lender criteria and packaging up a proposal/diary note & servicing calculators is a prerequisite for this role.
• Know mortgage loan products, bank platforms, and processes.
• Understand bank/lender policies and procedures.
• Skills: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Attention to detail: Being able to focus
• Characteristics: You are highly ethical, take accountability & ownership of your work
• Learning & improving as a self-philosophy, being able to ‘dig in’ when the learning/going gets tough to achieve improvement & a well earnt success.
• Ability to follow a process, be adaptable to learn our process, read checklists & watch videos carefully then implement this learning into completing tasks for clients with a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong computer skills: Strong computer skills are essential
• Highly organised & proficient at prioritising tasks
• Team player ability to work under pressure & prioritise appropriately.
• You are smart, detail orientated, have strong sense of pride/checking work and are able to focus.

• Great pay: 72,000 PHP/month, 40 hours per week, 5am – 2pm PHST (with an hour of breaks, 8 hours worked/day) Monday to Friday
