About Cleo+Coco
Cleo+Coco is next-level clean with high-performance deodorants and functional personal care — from deodorant balms, powders, and sprays. We're building a social media presence to sit alongside brands like Salt & Stone and Nimbi, which means we hold ourselves to a high creative standard. Our content must be polished, interesting, and native to the platforms where it lives.

The Role
We're looking for a skilled Video Editor and Animator — ideally someone who does both — to produce high-quality social content for Instagram and TikTok. You'll be working with raw footage, UGC, and brand assets to create edited videos and animated graphics that are visually sharp, on-trend, and true to the Cleo+Coco aesthetic. This could be one person or two complementary freelancers depending on skillsets.

What You'll Create
• Edited short-form videos for TikTok and Instagram Reels — transforming raw footage and UGC into polished, engaging content
• Motion graphics, animated text overlays, and branded transitions that elevate our visual identity
• Product-focused animations and explainer content that communicate benefits clearly and beautifully
• Story and feed graphics that are consistent with our visual brand language
• Thumbnail and cover image assets optimised for TikTok and Instagram
• Ad creatives and paid social video assets when required
• Iterating quickly on content based on performance feedback

What We're Looking For
• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality video editing and motion graphics — ideally for consumer brands in beauty, wellness, or lifestyle
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro for video editing
• Proficiency in Adobe After Effects (or equivalent) for motion graphics and animation
• Strong eye for aesthetics: colour, typography, pacing, and composition — you know what premium content looks like
• Understanding of content formats native to TikTok and Instagram — aspect ratios, attention patterns, caption placement, sound
• Ability to work efficiently with quick turnaround times while maintaining quality
• Experience creating content for natural beauty, wellness, or personal care brands is a strong advantage
• Comfortable receiving creative direction via briefs and reference materials
• Familiarity with Canva and Figma is a bonus
• Experience using AI tools to enhance creative production is a plus

Note on Splitting the Role
We are open to this being two separate roles — one focused on video editing and one on animation and motion graphics. If you specialise in one area, please apply and indicate which. We may bring on both.
