This is more than a dispatcher role — it’s a structured pathway toward leadership. High performers will gradually take on operational oversight and team responsibilities, with the goal of stepping into a Sales Manager / Team Leader position.
Staff Connect is helping build the client’s first offshore team in the Philippines — this is a ground-floor opportunity with real long-term growth.
The Role
You’ll begin in an Inbound Sales & Dispatch position, managing live calls and coordinating technicians across Australia.
As you prove your reliability, sales ability, and leadership potential, you’ll be given expanded responsibilities in operations, quality control, and team support.
Core Responsibilities
Inbound Sales & Job Coordination
- Answer incoming calls from motorists requiring urgent assistance
- Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings using empathy and confidence
- Coordinate nationwide technicians via scheduling platforms
- Secure deposits and accurately log all job details
- Manage cases from first contact through job completion
- Communicate via phone, Gmail, Slack, SMS, and booking systems
Operations & Quality Oversight
- Review previous day’s jobs for accuracy and completion
- Identify and correct unclosed or incorrectly logged jobs
- Ensure jobs are properly transferred to Xero and GeoOp
Monitor call logs for:
- Correct objection tagging
- Accurate ETAs and timestamps
- Proper discount logging
- Missed sales opportunities
- Assist in managing long fleet-related calls for PO numbers
- Track spill kit usage and upload relevant invoices in Xero (creation only)
- Act as a quality control layer to prevent operational errors
Process & Admin Support
- Update internal fleet documents using new templates
- Assist with SOP improvements and documentation updates
- Support onboarding and training initiatives as the team expands
Customer Escalation & Tech Coordination
- Manage escalated customer calls professionally
- Coordinate servo runs and tech card runs
- Participate in Slack huddles (camera-on when required)
- Be an active contributor during live team support sessions
Ideal Candidate
- At least 2 years’ experience in sales, dispatch, or call centre roles
- Strong track record of converting inbound enquiries
- Excellent English communication (written and spoken)
- Calm and composed under pressure
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident using Google Workspace, Gmail, and Chrome
- Comfortable with Slack and video calls
- Reliable home setup with stable internet
Highly Regarded:
- Automotive or roadside assistance experience
- Knowledge of Australian geography
