Blackacre Property Management is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to manage the financial records of our properties. This role focuses on accurate bookkeeping, reconciliation, and financial reporting to support smooth operations and informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
-Process monthly mortgage statements, bank statements, and receipts.
- Record all financial transactions accurately using journal entries.
- Reconcile accounts and ensure all records are balanced and up-to-date.
- Prepare financial statements, including:
1. Cash flow statements
2. Income statements (profit & loss)
3. Balance sheets
- Monitor and track expenses and revenue to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and other ad hoc financial analysis as needed.
- Maintain organized and accurate digital financial records.
Qualifications:
Proven bookkeeping experience, preferably in real estate or property management.
Proficiency with accounting software- AppFolio
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks accurately.
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively regarding financial matters.
Bachelor's degree in accounting
