We run a high-performing social media business in the subscription space. The operation already generates significant volume and our standards are high. Right now our social media arm is overloaded and we are expanding the team quickly so the system can scale.
This role exists to build and manage an offshore execution team that can take pressure off the core operation.

THE ROLE
--------------------------------------------------
We are hiring a Social Media Operations Manager to build and manage an offshore social media team for one of our clients.
This is an execution role. You will be responsible for hiring editors and social media managers, onboarding them, and managing their output.
This is not a strategy role. It is an operations role focused on hiring, delegation, and delivery. You do however need a solid understanding of social media platforms, short-form content workflows, and the tools used to publish and manage content.
A hard working hustler can do this role. Recruiting and management is not rocket science it take methodical systems and thought but it does not require a degree or lifelong experience. We are willing to work and develop the right candidate.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Hiring and onboarding 3+ editors and 3+ SMMs within 90 days, with the first hires live within 30 days
• Overseeing daily content production and posting workflows
• Identifying bottlenecks and process failures
• Creating practical SOPs so work can be repeated consistently
• Setting performance expectations and holding the team accountable
• Managing offshore team communication across time zones
• Maintaining a culture where feedback is normal and not treated as a threat
• Handling performance conversations calmly and professionally

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
--------------------------------------------------
Within 90 days the following should be true:
• Editing and posting are fully delegated
• Offshore team is fully staffed and stable
• Clear KPIs are in place
• Content output is predictable and consistent
If these outcomes are not achieved, the role is not working.

REQUIREMENTS (FLEXIBLE)

• A good understanding of Social Media and the roles required to maintain accounts in 2026
• Experience hiring and managing offshore teams, especially in the Philippines
• Strong English communication and emotional maturity
• Comfortable receiving direct feedback without becoming defensive
• Experience managing remote digital or content teams
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment
• A strong understanding of how to use AI to benefit you

COMPENSATION

Up to $9/hr DOE.
Full-time role (usually 40 hours per week initially may be 48).
We pay for reliability and performance and include performance-based bonuses.
