We are looking for a skilled SEO specialist to help organize and grow the organic traffic of a large knowledge website. The role focuses on building strong site architecture, creating topical clusters, improving internal linking, and developing backlink strategies to increase authority.
This is a remote role that might require morning meetings some days during US Eastern Time mornings (until 10 AM ET).
Must skill: SEO Architecture & Content Clustering & Backlink Building, WordPress, Google Search Console
Nice to have: Using LLMs for Strategy, Other Seo Tools

Salary & Hours
Starting at $5–10/hour depending on experience, with increases based on performance.
Initial work will likely be a 40-80 hour project on one website over a few weeks and than about 10 hours per week for ongoing, with potential to scale as project demands grow.
Core Responsibilities
Analyze large content websites (2000+ articles) and design SEO-driven site architecture.
Build topical clusters and pillar page structures to organize large content libraries.
Identify articles targeting similar keywords and restructure or consolidate them.
Design and implement internal linking frameworks that strengthen topical authority.
Create cluster maps connecting pillar pages with supporting articles.
Develop blog content plans based on keyword clusters.
Support new blog creation and content expansion.
Identify keyword opportunities for ranking and set up AI content systems to produce
Plan and execute backlink building strategies to increase domain authority.
Identify and pursue opportunities for:
guest posting
industry partnerships
resource page links
editorial mentions
Assist with link outreach campaigns and track backlink performance.
Document SEO structure and maintain clear records of changes.
Key Requirements
Strong experience building SEO architecture for large content websites.
Deep understanding of:
topical authority
pillar pages
content clusters
internal linking structures
Experience organizing hundreds or thousands of articles into structured hierarchies.
Experience with backlink building strategies and outreach.
Experience using SEO tools such as:
Google Search Console
Screaming Frog
Ahrefs or SEMrush
