About the Role

We are hiring a Cold Email Specialist to build and manage high volume outbound email campaigns across multiple businesses. This is not a generic VA role. You will own the entire cold email engine: domain infrastructure, inbox management, campaign execution, deliverability, copywriting, and A/B testing. You will work directly with the founder and report on campaign performance weekly.

The right person for this role understands that sending cold email at scale is a technical discipline. You know why you cannot send 500 emails from a single domain. You know how to set up and warm secondary domains. You know how to write copy that earns a response, not just lands in an inbox.

What You Will Do
- Set up and manage fleets of secondary domains and inboxes (e.g. ---------- , ---------- , wearewiser.co) to enable high volume sending without damaging primary domain reputation
- Build, launch, and optimise cold email sequences using SmartLead and/or Instantly, managing all inboxes through a unified master inbox view
- Use Clay to enrich prospect data, build targeted lead lists, and automate personalisation at scale
- Write compelling cold email copy including lead magnets, calls to action, and multi step follow up sequences. You will be assessed on this during the hiring process
- Run structured A/B tests across subject lines, copy angles, offers, segments, and CTAs, then report on what is working and what is not
- Monitor deliverability metrics (open rates, reply rates, bounce rates, spam complaints) and take corrective action when numbers drop
- Manage domain warming schedules and inbox rotation to maintain sender reputation across all active domains
Coordinate with the founder on targeting strategy, campaign priorities, and response handling workflows

Required Skills and Experience
- You must have hands on experience with all three of these tools. This is non negotiable:
- Clay: lead enrichment, data workflows, automated personalisation
- SmartLead: multi inbox campaign management, inbox rotation, unified reply tracking
- Instantly: email sequencing, domain warmup, deliverability management

Beyond the tooling, you need to be a strong cold email copywriter. Understanding the technical infrastructure is one skill set. Writing copy that gets replies is another. We need both. If you only know the tools but cannot write, or you can write but have never managed domains and inboxes at scale, this is not the right fit.

Nice to Have
- Experience managing 10+ domains and hundreds of inboxes simultaneously
- Familiarity with lead magnet strategy (offering free value to generate initial positive responses before escalating to calls)
- Experience working with SDR teams or building response handling workflows
- Understanding of DNS records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and email authentication
- Previous agency or freelance cold email experience across multiple clients or industries

How We Will Assess You
As part of the application, you will be asked to complete a short practical assessment. This will include writing sample cold email sequences for a real business scenario, including a lead magnet approach and a direct CTA approach. We will evaluate your copywriting, your understanding of sequencing and follow ups, and your ability to think strategically about targeting and offers.
