JOB OVERVIEW

// JOB SUMMARY:
I need a careful Researcher / Virtual Assistant to build a spreadsheet of pillow products sold in Australia.

You will:
-- Visit each brand/retailer website
-- Open every pillow product page
-- Copy the required information into a spreadsheet
-- Repeat for all pillow products and variants

Important:
? 1 row = 1 pillow SKU / variant (one product you can buy).
? If information is not written clearly on the website, write “na” (do not guess).

If you do a great job, I will have many more similar projects.

(A SKU / Variant = a different version you can buy (for example: low vs high pillow, soft vs firm, cooling cover vs normal cover)).

Do NOT create a new row just because of size (Standard vs King) unless the size has different materials or different features.

// WEBSITES & BRANDS TO RESEARCH (Grouped by Category; use the Australian website where possible)

If there are more than 30+ pillow listings, then just capture the top 30 best-selling and also tell me the total number of listings / pillows that that retailer sells (or sort by default sort order and capture the first 30 products).

// SPREADSHEET REQUIREMENT (Very Important)

COLUMNS TO FILL (35 columns total)
A) Clear data points (must be 100?curate)
1. Brand
2. Product / model name
3. Variant name (e.g. Low / Medium / High, Soft / Firm, Standard height / Tall height, Cooling cover / Standard cover)
4. Product URL
5. Size / dimensions (if listed)
6. Price (RRP (recommend retail price) + sale if shown – include both)
7. Reviews on-site (# + average)
8. Pillow core type -- must be one of: Memory foam / Latex / Microfibre / Down/Feather / Wool / Hybrid / Other

// RULES (Must Follow)
- If a field is not clearly written on the website: write “na” (do not guess).
- Prefer official Australian brand pages. Use retailer pages only if the brand does not sell it on their AU site.
- If one product page has multiple variants: create multiple rows only when variant changes loft/firmness/material/cover tech.
- Use AUD. If on sale, include RRP + sale price.
- Use cm for all dimensions and height (convert if needed).
- At the end, provide a short summary: total rows completed, any brands/products you think might be missing, any problems you had (website blocked, missing info, etc.)
- Do not use AI to guess missing info. If not clearly stated on the website, the please write "na".
- Self-check 100% of rows before delivery.
I will spot-check 20% of rows. Accuracy is critical.

// PAID PILOT TEST (Required):
Before hiring long-term, you must do a paid pilot test (1-2 hours):
- Do Koala + Ecosa only (all Koala pillows + at least 6 Ecosa pillows).
- Deliver the spreadsheet with correct rows and quotes
If the pilot is excellent, you will get the full project + ongoing work.

// HOW TO APPLY (Important)
- Write PILLOWDATA on the first line of your application (so I know you've read all of these instructions).
- Tell me your hourly rate (USD or AUD).
- Share 1 example of similar work (spreadsheet research / competitor research).
- Tell me your ID Proof score and English test score (if available on OLJ).

Thank you and good luck!
