JOB OVERVIEW

crewsim ( ---------- ) is an innovative international telecom esim service that helps pilots and flight attendats stay connected worldwide. We’re looking for a Lead Backend Developer to join our small, friendly, and skilled team.

You’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining the backend of our esim platform — including backend UI tools — and will have a key role in shaping the system’s architecture and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend systems using Python (FastAPI) and PostgreSQL
• Build and maintain backend UI tools using React JS
• Design and optimize RESTful APIs for speed, scalability, and reliability
• Collaborate with other developers to deliver high-quality features
• Ensure code quality, security, and proper documentation

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Python and FastAPI
• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL (schema design, queries, optimization)
• Experience with React JS for backend/admin UI
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and authentication
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and proactive
• Good communication skills in English

Details:

• Company: crewsim — innovative global telecom service
• Position: Full-time
• Working hours: During Philippines business hours
• Salary: PHP 70,000 per month, paid twice per month via Wise.
• Trial phase: 1–2 months, leading to long-term employment
