JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a remote Property Accountant with strong real estate accounting experience and hands-on expertise in Yardi Voyager. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients. You’ll oversee monthly bookkeeping, manage close processes, and ensure accurate financials across a portfolio of real estate entities.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• CPA preferred but not a requirement (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on Yardi Voyagerexperience (required)
• At least 2 years of real estate accounting or finance experience, ideally in:
- A real estate-focused accounting firm, or
- A real estate investment, development, or property management company
• Strong understanding of:
- CAM reconicialtions
- Property acquisitions and dispositions
- Refinancing transactions
- Capitalization of development and improvement costs
- Rental property income statements and reporting
• Proficient with collaboration tools such as ClickUp and Google Workspace

Responsibilities
• Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned clients
• Maintain timely and professional client communication
• Collaborate with internal Bookkeepers and the Client Success Director
• Perform and review:
- Bank reconciliations
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Support clients and internal tea ---------- mbers with accounting-related questions
- Assist with month-end close and financial report preparation
- Handle new property setup, move-outs, owner draws, and management fee entries
- Ensure all monthly deadlines are consistently met
