JOB OVERVIEW

We're looking for a detail-oriented, fast video editor to help us clean up and polish over 20 hours of online course footage. This is super easy, and should take no more than 50 hours.

What the work involves:
The majority of the work is simple cut editing removing mistakes, pauses, stutters, and retakes. This is straightforward chopping work, but it requires someone with a sharp eye who can spot errors quickly and move through footage efficiently.

On select clips, you'll also need to apply blur effects to specific areas of the screen, things like desktop backgrounds, sensitive text, or UI elements that need to be hidden.

We'll point out what needs blurring, but we also need someone who pays attention and flags anything that looks like it shouldn't be in the final cut.

What we're looking for:

- Fast turnaround
- Strong attention to detail, you catch the small things others miss
- Experience with screen recording and talking-head style editing
- Comfortable with basic effects like blurring and masking
- Reliable communication and ability to meet honest deadlines
- Proficient in editing software

This is a contract role to start. If things go well and we like working together, this turns into a full-time position with a fixed monthly salary. We're building a long-term team and want someone who wants to grow with us.
