This short teaching sample helps ensure we don’t waste each other’s time and allows me to identify a teacher who can truly support intervention, not just assignment completion.
I am seeking an experienced elementary intervention teacher for my 3rd-grade child who is currently struggling in Math and English under US academic standards.
My child is enrolled in Georgia Connections Academy (GACA), so this role requires someone who can:
Support daily/weekly online coursework
Ensure full understanding of concepts
Prepare for quizzes and tests
Close academic gaps through structured intervention
Build confidence in struggling areas
This is NOT a homework-completion role.
I am looking for someone with real experience in academic intervention assistance. The curriculum and resources are already available on the school platform, so you would not have to create a curriculum, just follow the school resources as teaching tools.

Conduct live 1:1 Zoom sessions (3–4 times per week)
Review and support GACA assignments
Help student with GACA structured weekly intervention plan
Identify learning gaps
Provide short weekly progress updates
Track measurable improvement
Ideal Candidate:
Degree in Education (preferred)
Experience teaching US elementary students
Experience with struggling learners or intervention
Strong understanding of US curriculum standards
Clear communication and patient teaching style
Organized and structured
Bonus: Experience supporting students in online school platforms.
