Real Estate Media Company Research Analyst
About Us
Chasing Daylight Studio is a fast-growing real estate media company based in Massachusetts. We provide professional photography, video, floor plans, virtual staging, and marketing media for real estate agents.
We are committed to supporting our clients not just at the time of the photoshoot, but throughout the entire lifecycle of the listing.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Research Analyst to help us track listing outcomes and identify opportunities to better serve our clients.
Role Overview
The Real Estate Media Company Research Analyst is responsible for reviewing properties we have photographed and determining:
• When the property was listed
• Whether it has sold
• When it sold
• Whether it has expired, been withdrawn, or remains active
This role ensures we stay informed about our clients’ listings and allows us to:
• Congratulate agents when properties sell
• Offer additional marketing services if listings are not selling
• Strengthen long-term client relationships
• Identify repeat business opportunities
This is an operational research role focused on accuracy, consistency, and independent execution.
Core Responsibilities
• Review a weekly list of property addresses provided by Chasing Daylight Studio
• Research each address using designated real estate websites
• Determine listing date, current status, and sale date (if applicable)
• Accurately record findings in our tracking system
• Flag properties that meet follow-up criteria
• Provide a structured weekly report at an agreed-upon day and time
Accuracy is critical. Incorrect information directly affects client communication and business decisions.

This role requires someone who can manage their time effectively, stay focused, and complete work accurately without being monitored.

Work Structure
• Part-time position
• Approximately 4 hours per week
• Work must be completed in one dedicated 4-hour block each week
• Flexible schedule, as long as weekly updates are delivered at the agreed-upon day and time
• Independent, low-touch role with clear expectations
Trial Period
This position includes a 3-week paid trial period.
During this period:
• Accuracy, reliability, and consistency will be evaluated
• Reports will be reviewed carefully for completeness and correctness
• Communication and timeliness will be assessed
Continuation beyond the trial period will depend on demonstrated accuracy and dependable performance.
Accuracy in reporting is essential to the success of this role. Consistent errors or incomplete research will result in the position not moving forward.
Compensation & Payment
• Payment will be issued bi-weekly on Fridays via Remitly
• Payments are processed on Fridays
Performance Expectations
• Reports must be accurate and complete
• Updates must be delivered consistently at the scheduled time
• No listings should be skipped
• Information must be clearly documented
Consistency and accuracy are non-negotiable for long-term success in this role.
