We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to become our dedicated Quality Control Specialist. This is one of the most important roles in our company.
This person will serve as the final internal checkpoint before media is delivered to our clients.

Role Overview
The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring every photoshoot is complete, accurate, polished, and meets Chasing Daylight Studio’s quality standards before delivery.
This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong judgment, and the ability to enforce quality standards consistently.
You will work closely with our editing team, AI editing tools, and our delivery platform to ensure every project meets our brand standards.
This is not a task-based role. This is an ownership role. You are responsible for protecting the integrity of our brand.

Core Responsibilities
Quality Control – Photos
• Carefully review all delivered photos for quality, consistency, and accuracy
• Ensure proper exposure, color balance, vertical alignment, composition, and overall professionalism
• Use AI editing tools to declutter, adjust, and improve photos when needed
• Apply virtual staging using AI tools when requested by clients
• Work with clients to adjust virtually staged furniture based on feedback
• Confirm all required photos are present and nothing is missing

Quality Control – Video
This is one of the most challenging and important parts of the role.
• Carefully review all videos for smoothness, pacing, stabilization, transitions, and adherence to job instructions
• Ensure videos reflect a luxury, professional standard
• Verify editors followed all specific property instructions
• Identify any mistakes, quality issues, or missed details
• Clearly and professionally communicate required revisions to editors
• Return videos that do not meet our standards
You must be confident in enforcing quality standards. If something is not right, it does not get delivered.

Floor Plan Quality Control
• Review floor plans for accuracy and completeness
• Make room name adjustments when requested
• Work directly with clients if clarification is needed
• Ensure final floor plans are accurate before delivery

Delivery Management and Job Tracking
• Ensure no photoshoot job slips through the cracks
• Track projects from upload through final delivery
• Confirm all deliverables are complete before release
• Maintain organized file management systems
• Help maintain internal tracking systems and workflows
Organization and reliability are essential.

AI-First Workflow
This role requires comfort and experience working with AI-based editing tools.
• Use AI tools for decluttering, virtual staging, and minor image corrections
• Be comfortable learning and adapting to new AI platforms
• Apply strong visual judgment when using AI tools to ensure results meet brand standards
• Photoshop experience is helpful but not required
• If using Adobe products, you must provide your own subscription
AI tools assist the workflow, but human judgment drives quality.

Required Experience (Non-Negotiable)
Applicants must have:
• Prior Quality Control experience for a real estate media company
• Direct experience reviewing real estate photography and video
• Experience working with editors and requesting revisions
• Experience using AI editing tools for real estate media
• Strong command of the English language
• At least one professional reference from a real estate media company verifying QC experience
Applicants without direct real estate media QC experience will not be considered.

Interview & Testing Process
Qualified applicants will be required to:
• Complete a practical QC test assignment
• Review sample photos and videos and clearly identify any quality issues or mistakes
• Critique provided media and explain what is wrong, what should be improved, and why
• Provide examples of prior QC work
• Explain their full QC process from start to finish
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate strong visual judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate feedback clearly and professionally.

Performance Expectations
• Delivery timelines will be monitored
• Accuracy and completeness will be monitored
• Responsiveness during agreed working hours is required
• Quality standards must be consistently maintained
You will be evaluated based on performance, attention to detail, reliability, and communication.

Trial Period
This position includes a 3-week paid trial period.
During this period:
• Your quality, speed, communication, and judgment will be evaluated
• Feedback will be provided regularly
• Continuation into a long-term role will be based on performance
We are looking for long-term tea ---------- mbers, not short-term contractors.

Work Schedule
• Remote position
• Must be available during Eastern Time business hours
• Initial hours: Approximately 5 hours per week
• Expected growth to 30–40 hours per week as volume increases
