VIRTUAL ASSISTANT – SHORT-TERM & MID-TERM RENTALS
Summary
We are hiring a highly organized, proactive Virtual Assistant with direct experience in short-term rental (STR) and mid-term rental operations. This role supports guest communication, maintenance coordination, owner reporting, systems management, and operational optimization across multiple properties.
This is not an entry-level position. You must understand how STR operations actually run and be able to think critically without constant supervision.
Hours: 6–8 hours per day (flexible scheduling, ET timezone)
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience + performance bonuses for client acquisition and tenant placement
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Guest & Tenant Management:
* Manage guest/tenant communication across platforms (Airbnb, Furnished Finder, etc.)
* Handle screening, booking flow, move-in/move-out coordination
* Track issues, payments, and documentation
* Proactively anticipate guest needs with a hospitality-driven mindset
Maintenance & Operations:
* Coordinate cleaners, vendors, and maintenance teams
* Track and document work orders and resolutions
* Ensure properties are ready for upcoming stays
* Maintain organized operational systems
Owner & Client Communication:
* Provide performance updates and occupancy insights
* Assist with onboarding new properties
* Anticipate owner needs and escalate appropriately
Systems & Software:
* Work inside PMS tools (e.g., Hospitable, RentRedi, Monday, GHL, etc.)
* Maintain documentation and operational workflows
* Comfortable learning and implementing new AI tools
* Support listing optimization and platform management
Bookkeeping (Preferred, not required)
* Assist with rent collection, expense tracking, and reconciliations
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
* Proven STR or property management experience
* Strong English communication (written and verbal)
* Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
* Strong critical thinking and decision-making ability
* High level of organization and accountability
