This role supports strategic M&A outreach across the United States.
Position Overview
This role is responsible for building and maintaining a nationwide database of Kubota equipment dealers, enriching ownership and contact information, maintaining CRM accuracy, and supporting structured outreach campaigns.
You will work directly with the Corporate Development lead.
This is a research-driven, systems-oriented position with long-term growth potential.
Core Responsibilities
1?? Dealer Research & Data Collection
Build and maintain a nationwide list of Kubota equipment dealers
Identify and exclude known consolidator-owned groups
Research:
Dealer name
Locations
Website
Owner / Principal name
General Manager name
Email
Phone numbers
LinkedIn profiles
Estimate dealership size based on available indicators
Track news, ownership announcements, and expansion activity
2?? CRM Management (HubSpot)
Populate and maintain CRM records
Update contact status after outreach
Maintain accurate contact notes
Set task reminders for follow-up
Ensure database cleanliness and consistency
Organize dealers by state and priority tier
3?? Outreach Support
Prepare one-page briefing summaries before calls
Draft contact lists for weekly state-based outreach
Track
Flag high-priority opportunities
Monitor industry publications for succession signals
4?? Strategic Intelligence Monitoring
Identify signals such as:
Aging ownership
Leadership transitions
Hiring slowdowns
Public announcements
Highlight dealers that appear likely to transition in the next 1–3 years
Required Skills
Strong English writing skills
High attention to detail
Experience with data research and online investigation
Comfortable using CRM systems (HubSpot preferred)
Familiar with LinkedIn research
Organized and systematic
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Preferred Experience
Prior CRM management
Research for investment firms, private equity, or M&A teams
Experience using:
HubSpot
Apollo
LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Background in business research or financial research
Compensation & Hours
Part-time (20 hours/week to start)
Potential to increase hours over time
Long-term position preferred
