Role Overview
We are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and trend-aware Influencer Marketing Coordinator to lead our micro-influencer trade program. Your mission is to build a community of brand advocates by identifying the right voices, managing the end-to-end partnership process, and ensuring our products are showcased through high-quality, authentic storytelling. You will be the primary point of contact for all creators, moving them from initial discovery to final performance reporting.
Core Responsibilities
1. Discovery & Curation
Sourcing: Proactively scout Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest for micro-influencers (under 10k followers) who align with our brand aesthetic (e.g., DIY, Home Reno, Interior Design, Tech-Life).
List Building: Create and maintain weekly "Prospect Lists" for internal approval, ensuring a diverse mix of voices and styles.
2. Outreach & Correspondence
Pitching: Manage the initial outreach (DMs/Emails), pitching the value of a product-trade partnership.
Relationship Management: Act as the "face of the brand," handling all back-and-forth communication, answering product questions, and maintaining a positive rapport.
3. Creative Briefing & Logistics
Creative Briefs: Develop clear, visual creative briefs that outline brand pillars, key talking points, and "must-have" shots while allowing for creator authenticity.
Contracting: Manage simple trade agreements/contracts to ensure clear expectations on deliverables and usage rights.
Logistics: Coordinate product orders and shipping, ensuring influencers receive their items in a timely manner for their scheduled shoots.
4. Timeline & Project Management
Scheduling: Manage the content calendar, setting firm dates for content drafts (for review) and final go-live posts.
Content Review: Act as the first line of review for all influencer drafts, ensuring they meet brand guidelines before final approval.
Compliance: Monitor all social channels to ensure posts go live on time with correct tags and disclosures (e.g., #partner)
5. Reporting & Analysis
Data Collection: Collect screenshots and raw data (Reach, Impressions, Engagement, Saves) 7–14 days after a post goes live.
Reporting: Compile monthly "Impact Reports" summarizing performance, top-performing creators, and creative wins to inform future strategy.
Qualifications
The "Eye": A strong pulse on social media trends and a deep understanding of what makes a "good" aesthetic for home/design content.
Organization: Expert-level ability to manage multiple spreadsheets and timelines simultaneously.
Communication: Exceptional writing skills with the ability to pivot between a professional and a "social-first" tone.
Technical: Familiarity with Instagram Insights, TikTok Analytics, and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday, or Notion).
Experience: 1–2 years in social media, PR, or influencer marketing is preferred, but a "hunger" for the industry is more important.
