This position will assist the Pre-Litigation Case Manager with case tasks to ensure cases progress efficiently.
This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with attorneys, medical providers, and insurance adjusters. The assistant will prioritize drafting demand letters, medical summaries, and gathering essential documents.
Key Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Maintain detailed notes on client interactions and case status in the case management system.
- Gather, organize, and manage medical records, bills, and other necessary documentation.
- Ensure clients are signing intake documents, HIPAA forms, and other required paperwork.
- Track client medical treatment progress, ensuring proper follow-ups and completion of treatment.
- Coordinate with medical providers to obtain medical records, bills, and treatment updates.
- Draft demand letters
- Work closely with the case manager to ensure efficient progress on cases
- Identify and suggest improvements in procedures and processes to enhance efficiency and organization.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
1+ years (2+ preferred) of experience in personal injury case management, claims handling, or a related legal support role.
Familiarity with medical terminology, billing, and insurance claims processes.
Strong understanding of personal injury law, legal procedures, and case management practices.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team, medical providers, and insurance adjusters.
High level of organization and attention to detail to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
