**Technical Sales Representative – Construction Products / Insulation / Soundproofing**
We are an Australian-based distributor of construction-related products with over 20 years’ experience. We supply homeowners, builders, contractors and trade professionals throughout Australia.
We are looking for another **Technical Sales Representative** to join our Philippines-based virtual sales team.
This is **not a general VA or basic customer service role**. Our products are technical, so we need someone who can understand construction products, measurements, product specifications and customer requirements.
This role may suit someone with experience or education in:
* Civil Engineering
* Architecture
* Construction / Building Materials
* Quantity Surveying
* Mechanical / HVAC products
* Insulation, soundproofing, pipe lagging or related products
* Technical sales or trade customer service
**Your main duties will include:**
* Answering inbound phone calls,
* Providing product information and sales quotes
* Helping customers choose suitable insulation, soundproofing and construction products
* Calculating product quantities from room sizes, wall areas, ceiling areas or plans
* Following up previous quotes and enquiries to close sales
* Reaching out to suitable businesses by phone and
* Logging customer information, quotes and follow-ups into our CRM system
**Skills and experience required:**
* Very good spoken and written English
* Clear, pleasant and confident phone manner
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to understand technical product information
* Ability to calculate areas, quantities and basic measurements
* Comfortable using Excel, CRM software,
* Sales ability and confidence following up customers
* Ability to follow instructions carefully
**Highly regarded:**
* Previous experience selling or supporting construction products
* Civil Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying or similar background
* Experience with insulation, soundproofing, acoustic products, HVAC, pipe insulation, plasterboard, roofing, or building materials
* Ability to read simple building plans or calculate material requirements
**You must have:**
* Reliable internet connection, minimum 40 Mbps
* Good quality computer
* Good quality headset
* Backup power supply if you live in an area with power outages
* Quiet work environment suitable for phone calls
* Availability to work very early morning starts due to Australian time zone requirements
**Work hours:**
8 hours per day, 5 days per week, Monday to Friday.
Very early morning starts will be required because we service Australian customers.
**Remuneration:**
Base salary of **PHP 35,000 per month**, with commissions available based on sales achieved. Strong performers can earn up to **PHP 65,000 per month**.
Training will be provided virtually, but applicants must already have either relevant construction product experience or strong technical ability.
You will be required to attend a virtual interview via Google Meet.
