We’re looking for a highly experienced & competent video editor specializing in YouTube and short form to join our team full-time.

This is not a beginner role.

You will be responsible for helping us turn raw footage into highly engaging, retention-driven content optimized for growth.

What You’ll Be Editing...

Each week:
- 1 long-form YouTube video (12–25 minutes)
- Any where from 2–5 short-form videos (Reels / Shorts)

Platforms:
- YouTube
- Instagram
- TikTok

What We’re Looking For

You MUST:

- Be experienced in YouTube editing specifically (not just corporate or wedding editing)
- Understand audience retention and pacing
- Know how to build strong hooks
- Know strategies and techniques for retaining viewers past the first 30 seconds
- Know YouTube SEO (titles, packaging, optimization strategy)
- Know your way around YT Analytics & Studio and know which metrics to focus on
- Understand thumbnails and CTR
- Have motion graphics & animation skills
- Be proactive in broll and graphic selection
- Know how to color grade
- Be able to create graphics, callouts, lower thirds, visual storytelling elements
- Understand how to repurpose long-form into high-performing shorts
- Have experience growing channels

You should think like a creator — not just an editor.

Necessary Skills

Content ideation
- Hook writing
- Title testing
- Thumbnail strategy
- Understanding of YouTube CTR and retention metrics
- Experience growing channels

If you’ve helped grow a YouTube channel before — we want to know.

Tools

Must be highly skilled in:

- Premiere Pro / Final Cut / DaVinci (advanced level)
- After Effects (or equivalent for motion graphics)
- Photoshop / Canva (for thumbnail support)
