About Us
We are Thrive Courses Studio, a course creation company based in Oakland, CA. We help experts, coaches, authors, speakers, and entrepreneurs turn their knowledge into high-quality online courses that actually sell.
Our work sits at the intersection of creativity and execution. We manage a lot of moving pieces, multiple clients, and high standards. That’s where this role comes in.
Meet our team:
The Role
We are hiring a Project Coordinator to help manage our online course productions from start to finish.
This role starts part-time, with very flexible hours, and has a clear path to full-time for the right person. We are remote-first and results-focused. We care far more about things getting done well than about clocking hours.
You will be the connective tissue between clients, creatives, and internal systems. When you do your job well, projects move smoothly and clients feel supported, informed, and calm.
This Role Is a Great Fit If You:
Are highly organized and detail-oriented
Communicate clearly and follow through
Stay calm when things get busy
Enjoy bringing structure to creative work
Are comfortable working remotely and independently
Like owning outcomes, not just completing tasks
Experience as a project coordinator is helpful but not required. The right person will be trained.
This Role Is NOT a Good Fit If You:
Dislike working on a computer or being on video calls
Avoid responsibility or decision-making
Need constant supervision
Get easily overwhelmed by multiple moving pieces
Prefer routine over variety
We want to be clear and respectful of your time and ours.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Planning and managing project schedules
Coordinating tea
Leading client onboarding and check-in calls (primarily via Zoom)
Communicating with clients to define scope, requirements, and next steps
Managing and organizing video files
Quality control across deliverables
Collaborating with marketing, sales, and video editing teams
We use clear systems, tools, and processes to support you. This is not a “figure it out alone” environment.
What We Value
Ownership and accountability
Clear communication
Attention to detail
Integrity and follow-through
A growth mindset
You’ll have the opportunity to learn directly from the founder and our team, grow your skills, and potentially travel to retreats and events. We actively invest in people who take ownership and want to grow.
Compensation
This is a full-time role with competitive compensation and a clear path to a performance-based pay increase.
How to Apply
To apply, please submit a 2–4 minute video answering these two question:
1) Why would you be a good fit for this role?
2) What is the secret to getting things done?
We are not looking for a Hollywood-level production. A simple phone or laptop video is perfectly fine.
You can record your video using a free tool like Loom and include the link in your application or cover letter.
Applications without a video will not be reviewed.
Thank you for your interest. We’re excited to meet people who are eager to build something meaningful with us.
