JOB OVERVIEW

Long-Term US Engagement. Lead the Close in Lean SME Environments.
MAVI partners with US-based SMEs and growing businesses, embedding experienced accounting professionals directly into their finance operations.
We are hiring a US GL Lead who will take ownership of general ledger accounting and month-end close for US clients operating in lean, fast-moving environments.
This is not a layered corporate role.
You will work closely with US Controllers, founders, or finance leads — where your contribution directly impacts decision-making.

What You Will Own
- Lead month-end close under US GAAP
- Manage general ledger accounting activities
- Review journal entries and accruals
- Oversee balance sheet reconciliations
- Ensure reporting accuracy and compliance
- Support audit readiness
- Improve close processes within evolving SME environments

What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of US GAAP general ledger experience
- Demonstrated ownership of close cycles
- Comfort operating in lean, evolving environments
- Strong reconciliation and reporting expertise
- ERP exposure (NetSuite preferred)
- Strong English communication skills
